Photos, videos and folder access

Local app data

Settings, favourites, download records, selected folder permissions and related app preferences may be stored locally on your device. Removing the app or clearing its data may delete this locally stored information.

๐Ÿ”—

Sharing and reposting

When you choose to share or repost media, Android transfers the selected item to the app or service you choose. That third party's privacy policy then applies to its handling of the media.

Google AdMob advertising

StoryVault displays advertising through Google AdMob, including banner, native, interstitial, app-open and rewarded ads. AdMob and its partners may process advertising identifiers, device information, IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions, consent choices and diagnostic data to deliver, limit, measure and protect ads. Depending on your region and consent choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

โ–ถ

Rewarded ads

Some optional actions may offer a rewarded ad. The requested feature is provided after the ad is completed or otherwise confirmed by the ad SDK. Choosing not to watch a rewarded ad does not grant the related reward.

๐Ÿ”ฅ

Firebase services

StoryVault uses Firebase services that may process limited app and device information:

  • Firebase Analytics for aggregated app usage and interaction measurement.
  • Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports and stability diagnostics.
  • Firebase Performance Monitoring for startup, screen and network performance metrics.
  • Firebase Remote Config to control app settings such as ads, maintenance mode, force-update rules and feature availability.
๐Ÿ”Ž

Data types processed by Google services

Depending on SDK configuration, regional requirements and your consent choices, Google services may process:

  • Device or other identifiers
  • Advertising ID

Notifications and Firebase Cloud Messaging

StoryVault may use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver app notifications. Depending on your Android version, notification permission may be requested. You can disable notifications at any time in Android settings.

๐Ÿงพ

Google Play Billing

Optional purchases, such as removing ads or premium access, are processed by Google Play Billing. StoryVault does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Google Play may provide purchase status, product and transaction identifiers needed to activate or restore a purchase.

โฌ†๏ธ

Google Play services and in-app updates

The app may use Google Play services and the Google Play in-app update API to check whether an update is available and guide you through an update flow. Google handles the related Play Store and device service information under its own policies.

๐Ÿšซ

Data sale and developer servers

StoryVault does not sell your personal information. The developer does not operate a server that receives your saved statuses or locally organized media. Third-party SDK providers may process limited information for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, performance, messaging, billing and security purposes.

โš™๏ธ

Your choices and controls

You can manage media, folder, notification and advertising-related permissions through Android settings. Where available, users can review or change advertising consent choices through the Privacy Options entry in the app. Premium or remove-ads access disables eligible ads while the entitlement remains active.

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ

Retention and local data deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data or uninstall the app. Users can remove favourites and downloaded media through the app where the feature is available. They may also delete downloaded files from device storage, clear StoryVault app data through Android settings, or uninstall the app. Google and Firebase services retain data according to their own retention settings and privacy policies.

StoryVault is not directed to children under the minimum age required in their country. The app does not knowingly request account registration or direct personal details from children.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

Security

StoryVault uses Android's permission system, app sandboxing and local storage protections. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so users should only save and share media they are authorized to use.
